Privacy Policy

Giga Lotus LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile game Vecpets. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and when it is shared when you use Vecpets.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run the game, support accounts, improve stability, and respond to player reports.

  • Account and sign-in information: Your email address, account identifier, and sign-in session information are used to create and secure your Vecpets account, keep you signed in, and sync progress across devices.
  • Optional Google Sign-In data: If you choose Google Sign-In or link a Google account in Settings, Google and Firebase provide the account identifiers and authentication credentials needed to sign you in or link that provider to your Vecpets account.
  • Game profile and save data: We store your Vecpets game data, such as your username, pets, progression, inventory, in-game progress, and settings, so the game works properly and your progress is saved.
  • Usage analytics: On supported mobile builds, we use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is used. This may include events such as app opens, sign-in and sign-up method, tutorial progress, game session starts and completions, major screens viewed, and whether a rewarded video offer was started or completed. When you are signed in, analytics may be associated with your account identifier. We do not include your email address, passwords, pet names, or free-text feedback in analytics events.
  • Crash and diagnostic data: On supported mobile builds, we use Firebase Crashlytics and related diagnostic logging to help diagnose crashes and serious errors. Crash and diagnostic reports may include device type, platform, operating system version, app version, general gameplay context, crash stack traces, short error messages, and an account identifier when available. We do not intentionally include passwords, sign-in tokens, or other secrets in these reports.
  • Optional feedback submissions: If you use the in-game Submit feedback feature, we collect what you choose to send us, such as a bug or suggestion description, an optional screenshot, and basic technical information about the app and device needed to investigate the report.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • authenticate players and keep Vecpets accounts secure;
  • store and sync gameplay progress;
  • understand product usage and improve game design;
  • detect, diagnose, and fix crashes, bugs, and abuse; and
  • review and respond to player-submitted bug reports and suggestions.

3. Third-Party Service Providers and Sharing

We use the following service providers to operate Vecpets:

  • Firebase Authentication: To manage account login sessions.
  • Google Sign-In: To provide optional Google-based login on supported platforms.
  • Firebase cloud storage and backend services: To store account and gameplay progress data.
  • Firebase Analytics: To measure aggregated game usage.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: To collect crash and serious diagnostic reports.
  • Discord: If you submit in-game feedback, your report may be delivered to our support tools through Discord.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers only as needed to run Vecpets, maintain the service, analyze product usage, or process player-submitted reports. Third-party providers handle data under their own terms and policies, including the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention and Security

We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your Vecpets account remains active or as needed to operate the service. Analytics, crash, and feedback records may also be retained in our systems and in the systems of service providers we use for troubleshooting, security, and product analysis.

We use commercially reasonable security measures, including HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and managed cloud infrastructure for storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. Account and Data Deletion

How to delete your account

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. You can initiate this by:

  1. Using the "Delete Account" option found in the Vecpets Settings Menu.
  2. Emailing us at [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."

Upon request, we will delete your Vecpets account data, including associated gameplay progress, from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to operational backups and legal obligations. If you used Google Sign-In, deleting your Vecpets account does not delete your Google account itself.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and aware that your child has provided us with an email, please contact us immediately.
